Ovation Children’s Theatre (a division of Ovation Group Productions) is dedicated to providing an educational experience to children through performing arts. We pride ourselves on giving children an outlet to create their creativity. Whether performing is a child’s lifelong passion or simply an exciting extra-curricular activity, we aim to instill children with a sense of camaraderie, responsibility, dedication, and passion, while also having fun!
Unlike other children’s theatre companies that feature one or two performers in their productions, we write our shows based on the children we have in our classes. We tailor our shows to the individual actors so that each child is featured and has ample solos and stage time. Our talented team of writers and teachers pride themselves on surpassing parents’ expectations of what a “kids’ show” should look like. We encourage all children to participate and are hailed for our all-inclusive approach.
Ovation Group Productions’ dedicated team of writers and teachers are committed to providing kid-friendly musicals that showcase each child’s individual talents and give every performer ample stage time! Every student is given a featured role in our shows, so that each child is given his or her own chance to shine. We are all about having fun, gaining confidence, achieving goals, and loving who you are!

Miss Felicia was born and raised in Los Angeles. For the past 22 years she has been performing and choreographing for small independent artists and nationally televised parades. She started dancing at the age of 5, training in classical ballet and jazz. Her first exposure to street dance was watching her uncle break-dance in the streets with his friends. She started choreographing at the age of 14, when she was the first sophomore to join the high school varsity cheer/dance squad. It was in her 3 years of high school cheer along with much exposure to the club scene that Felicia’s choreography and style of dancing evolved. Felicia continued to train in various styles of dance as well as taking on new endeavors such as tumbling and theatre to add and enhance to her multitudes of dance ability. Since her beginning exposure to dance, Felicia furthered her technique at Louisville Ballet School in Louisville, KY and Los Angeles Pierce College. She was also a member of North Hollywood Jazz Dance Ensemble under the direction of Michael Menna and Eric Ellis. Felicia also trained extensively under Pop Star Andrea McCormack of I5. In her extensive studies with Andrea, she learned the I.S.T.D curriculum, which is one of the universal ballet curriculums used in Britain. Felicia continued training with many of the top choreographer’s in the industry, performing with them in showcases and the famous choreographer’s ball, Carnival. As a teacher Felicia focuses on the individual needs of each dancer. Allowing them to be challenged in areas that are specific to them. Felicia strives to teach dancers how to push themselves while learning proper technique, so they can have longevity as dancers. Felicia was a two time all-star cheerleader for UCA and USA, and has been blessed to perform in many parts of the world from London to Japan. Her most recent credits include Snoop Dog, Beyoncé, MTV’s Top Floor, the world famous Magic Castle’s Annual Award Show and Carnival Cruise Lines. Felicia hopes to continue to share her love of dance with people all over the world.
